Geotechnical Engineering Ltd (GEL) is proud to announce its commitment to sustainable business practices, aiming to generate profit while enhancing societal and environmental conditions. This strategy is designed to ensure the company’s longevity and profitability.

In alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 13, GEL is dedicated to maintaining business resilience as it progresses towards a Net Carbon Zero future. A critical step in this journey is the commitment to science-based emissions reduction targets. By participating in this initiative, Geotechnical aims to achieve internationally recognized emission reductions aligned with the latest climate science. The company has committed to:

Halve its greenhouse gas emissions before 2030

Achieve Net Zero emissions before 2050

Disclose its progress on a yearly basis

Geotechnical’ s 2016 carbon emission data will serve as the baseline for its 2030 target.
